Stony (Jada Pinket), Cleo (Queen Latifah), Frankie (Vivica A. Fox) and Tisean (Kimberley Elise) are four broke women in Los Angeles. When Stony's brother is shot by the police and Tisean's son is taken out of her care, the women decide to raise money by robbing a bank.
