He now works as a lecturer at Folkeuniversitetet (University extension) and as a teacher and adviser in the biomedical industry via his company Biolearning (biolearning.dk). Mads Duus Hjortsø is employed by Pfizer, where he works with the immune system and cancer. He has taught in immunology and microbiology at the Metropol University of Applied Sciences.
