Numicon builds a deep understanding of maths through a multi-sensory approach, developing children's fluency, reasoning and problem-solving. The box of Numicon Shapes 1-10 is designed for teachers and parents of children in Key Stage 1 and allow each child to have a set of shapes to lay out in front of them and use to respond to questions in class teaching, or when doing Numicon activities at home.
